The fight between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul was moved to November 15 because to the former world champion’s health scare.

Following Jake Paul’s illness on a flight last month, Mike Tyson‘s bout with the former world heavyweight champion is now scheduled for November 15. The bout, which will be broadcast on Netflix, was initially scheduled for July 20 in Arlington, Texas, home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys.

Tyson experienced nausea and vertigo in the last hour of a Miami to Los Angeles flight. First responders greeted his plane, and Tyson’s camp indicated he would need to do light training for a few weeks and blamed the incident on an ulcer. On June 30, Tyson will turn 58.

Even if the bout had to be postponed, I’ll be returning to the gym soon. In a statement sent by Netflix, Tyson said, “I am grateful to the medical staff that looked after me as well as MVP, Netflix, and AT&T Stadium for working hard to find the best reschedule date for all parties.” “Even if we have a fresh date, the outcome will remain the same regardless of when we fight. Jake Paul is about to lose consciousness.

The fight, which was initially scheduled for a Saturday, will now take place on a Friday in advance of the Cowboys’ Monday Night Football matchup with the Houston Texans on November 18.

Although Tyson hasn’t competed in a professional fight since June 2005, he has been consistently training for a number of years. In November 2020, he engaged in a thrilling exhibition fight in Los Angeles against Roy Jones Jr.
