Gaza is running out of fuel and food:

Gaza is running out of fuel and thousands of Palestinians have fled fighting in the Palestinian territory further north to seek refuge in southern Gaza. Israel’s army is now fighting the Islamist organization on the outskirts of Rafah, and the government has pledged to launch a big attack on the city in the south to destroy thousands of Hamas members that it alleges are holed up there.

The World Health Organization announced on Wednesday that there is only enough gasoline to run medical services in southern Gaza for three more days.

Israel’s army is now fighting the Islamist organization on the borders of Rafah, and the government has pledged to launch a big attack on the city in the south to destroy thousands of Hamas members who it alleges are hiding there.

According to the WHO, a fuel delivery to the region was rejected on Wednesday. It further reported that Rafah’s Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital was already out of function.

According to WHO, some of its equipment has been transported to field hospitals.

“WHO has pre-positioned some supplies in warehouses and hospitals, but without more aid flowing into Gaza, we cannot sustain our life-saving support to hospitals,” said WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who also stated that WHO would remain in the area to provide health services.
