“Apple Intelligence” is unveiled by Apple, incorporating ChatGPT with Siri in iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
According to the BBC, Apple introduced a number of innovations on Monday at its much awaited Worldwide Developers Conference, including a cooperation with OpenAI.
The tech behemoth unveiled “Apple Intelligence,” a new personalized AI system that aims to make using Apple devices easier for users, as it competes with rivals in the artificial intelligence space.
During the event, Apple said that in order to improve its reactions in pertinent scenarios, Siri will have direct access to ChatGPT in iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia.
With Open AI integrated, Siri will be able to take advantage of ChatGPT’s text and image comprehension features without switching between apps.
Siri will ask the user to grant permission before sending a query to ChatGPT.
Additionally, Apple products like Compose Music video editor and Writing Tools will include ChatGPT support.
As per Apple, individuals can utilize it at no cost without making an account, and ChatGPT members can link their accounts and obtain premium features directly from these encounters.
While some capabilities may trickle out throughout the course of next year, customers will be able to access Apple Intelligence beginning this year.
