A Maryland guy wins the lottery after more than ten years

“I still play because I enjoy it, and I still win sometimes,” the man states, intending to utilize his lottery winnings to pay bills.

A Marylander won $26,748,60 in the state lottery’s virtual horse racing game, Racetrax, more than ten years after winning $100,000 on a scratch-off lottery ticket.

After winning $100,000 more than ten years ago, he continued to play the lotto, but he never imagined winning a larger sum of money, he told Marland Lottery officials, according to UPI.

“I just assumed that I’d enjoyed my share of lottery luck — more than my share,” he stated. “I still play because I enjoy it, and I still win sometimes.”

In addition, he claimed that winning a number of “regular-size” prizes over the years had not prepared him for the outcome of the $4.80 Superfecta Box bet he made on the Racetrax game at Baltimore’s Harford Mart.

Interestingly, 5-7-8-12, the man’s virtual horses, finished together.

“When my horses came in, I just could not believe it,” remarked the man. “I’ve been using that lineup for some months now. Something about it seemed appropriate.”

In addition, he claimed that he maintained composure when he witnessed the outcomes.

It was difficult, but I didn’t break. It was really thrilling,” he remarked.
The winner also stated that he will use his $26,748.60 award to pay debts.
